I did type an introduction, but somehow the message has gone on holidays!
I'll make my introduction very brief just in case....
Hello, my name is Jane Sliwka, live in Canberra, married, 3 adult sons, 3 grandchildren, cat and 1 turtle. Like most of my generation, you were taught to sew, knit etc. at a very early age. I was introduced to quilting the year before I retired and loved it. Over the years I have taught various quilting classes and have designed and taught cloth doll classes as well.
Like Kelly, I've signed up for the Quilt Mania's Di Ford's Mystery BOM through Threadbear Quilting in Castlemaine VIC. Broderie Perse is a technique I've not done before plus I'm a great admirer of Di Ford's work.

Hi Jane, it's so great to have members from around the country, and many thanks for introducing yourself on the forum. Hopefully we can meet in person soon.
