Thank you everyone for being patient while Alison, Irene and I have been re-entering member details in to our website. It has been a big job to go through systematically and we do appreciate your patience. I've been holding off doing a blog post 'til it was rectified, as we want you to get the email notifications of a blog post so you know what's happening in the TAG world. There are some members who still have to confirm their email subscription to blog posts, it was emailed to you with a link, please do that as soon as you can so that you don't miss the news. I decided to go ahead and blog without waiting any longer as I know you'll be wanting to see Irene's quilts from our Mornington Peninsula Applique-In. This post will be photo heavy LOL so you may want to make a cup of tea or coffee :-) And last but not least Thank you Irene for bringing along all these fabulous quilts for us to enjoy on the day and with the rest of our members via the interweb. Irene was a wonderful and engaging speaker, and she is our featured Appliquist interview in our newsletter next month. Her website is http://www.focusonquilts.com.au/ and you van also follow her on Instagram/focusonquilts. I'll be back with some show and tell from the day next week, happy stitching, Margaret Read More

AGM & Applique-In report
Many thanks to everyone who came along to our AGM and Applique-In at Moonee Ponds on Saturday. A lovely day was had with lots of stitching and chatting. Award winning quilt designer and tutor Chris Serong was our guest speaker for the day, she wowed us all with her charm and of course her beautiful quilts. Robyn Roberts very generously took oodles of photo's and has uploaded them for me to use so please enjoy the photo's of Chris Serong's beautiful quilts. Thank you Chris and thank you Robyn. and last but by no means least, the quilt that Chris will be teaching at our Applique Academy in October this year...'Alice Bray' Thank you Chris, your quilts are very inspiring and beautiful. As well we had two fabulous shops attend, it's always great to see what new things are on offer and we appreciate that you brought your shops along and also generously contribute to our raffle prizes. Carol and Margaret from Sewn and Quilted and Pauline from Patchworks Unlimited, (Patchworks Unlimited will be the venue for the Pascoe Vale TAG Chapter starting in March, many thanks Pauline for making the shop available. Details on Chapters page.) Our AGM was kept short and sweet so as not to cut in to our precious stitching and chatting time. A new committee was elected and a couple of items of biz, job done lol. Many thanks to Heather Bonney who officiated once again for us. Many thanks indeed to the outgoing committee who have given their time so generously over the last 12 months. And welcome to the incoming committee. And after we thought the last pic had been taken... I will get the President's report, the Treasurer's report and the AGM minutes up on the Members Document page this week. And I'll be back again in a day or two with the gorgeous Show and Tell from the day. Happy Stitching. Read More
