Our Inaugural AGM 22nd February 2014

Hello everybody, happy 2014...may it be filled with lots of stitching, fun and friendship.

The committee took the opportunity of it being "summer hol's " and met yesterday at Mill Rose Cottage in Ballan, Central Vic.  (We don't often meet in person but meet instead over Skype as we are somewhat scattered around the State)  So it was a lovely day of shopping, stitching, lunch etc.  but we DID work and finalised the planning of the AGM so it will also be a fun meeting/sewing day.

Pop the date in your diaries, we welcome all of you to attend and please feel free to bring a guest.

Alison will be sending out an AGM Flyer to all members next week with nomination forms and asking for any topic suggestions members may wish to be added to the Agenda.  The final Agenda can then be forwarded to you all prior to the AGM.

We have a wonderful guest speaker attending, award winning quilter Jan Fraser from Melbourne.  As well we'll have shops in attendance to tempt us, an applique technique demo and we've allowed time to have some instruction on how to work the forum & 'web stuff'. And there's the usual raffle and lucky door prizes.  All that for $5.00

The venue is The Masonic Hall, 870 Mt. Alexander Rd.  Moonee Ponds, (Melbourne) 3039 Vic.
